Remote Receiver Cover Heat Shield for Gas Logs and Fireplaces

The Insulated Metal Remote Receiver Cover (MHRRCM) is designed to protect your remote receiver while adding an attractive touch. Its inside dimensions measure 2.5"w x 1-3/8"h x 2.25"d. This cover not only looks good, but also shields the receiver's electronics from the heat produced by your gas fireplace.

To install the MHRRCM, carefully place it onto the remote control receiver. Be sure to follow the recommended receiver location mentioned in the manufacturer's or homeowner's manual. Failing to do so may result in overheating of the receiver and/or reduced battery life due to higher operating temperatures. Ensure that the insulation is in place and properly surrounds the remote receiver. It is important not to route the receiver wiring near the burner, flame, or any other high-temperature surface.

Please note that the MHRRCM does not make your receiver completely heat-proof. While it provides additional protection, you must still follow your appliance's instructions to properly position the remote receiver. The MHRRCM is constructed with all metal and lined with insulation. It features cut-outs on the back and side for easy routing of wiring. Additionally, it provides added protection against heat.

It is important to remember that the MHRRCM is a heat shield only and does not include the receiver itself.
